Approach
I go beyond objects. I design systems.
The brief is never the brief
I define the design problem before assigning the design task. At Ambi Labs, a device-only brief turned out to be a brand-consistency problem, and solving that is what got the product into premium retail.
Systems over objects
A product that doesn't fit its brand, packaging and retail environment is an incomplete product. I design the whole system, from CMF and packaging to the shelf it sits on.
Design that reads as strategy
Design decisions need buy-in. I present to C-level stakeholders and make design legible as business strategy, which is how X-Lab's repositioning secured Executive Office funding.
